# OmniGet OmniGet is a free, open source (GPL-3.0) app for Windows, macOS and Linux. It downloads video, audio and files from more than 1,000 sites through yt-dlp and runs AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex and local Ollama models. I started OmniGet in February 2026, in Rust (Tauri 2) and Svelte. ## Fact sheet - Platforms: Windows, macOS, Linux - License: GPL-3.0 - Version: 1.0.0 (2026-10-19) - Started on: 2026-02-11 - Built with: Rust, Tauri 2, Svelte, yt-dlp, FFmpeg, MCP - Author: Antonio Leandro (https://linkedin.com/in/tonho) - https://getomniget.com ## What does OmniGet do? ### Paste the link, get the file Paste one link or many at once.
